MACVB will be a unified voice for the travel industry and destinations throughout Michigan. Collectively we will set priorities among the issues that we face and work together for positive solutions.
Objectives:

Support our CVB member's advocacy efforts by providing tools and educational resources

Support the Travel Commission and align with the Michigan Strategic Plan tactics as deemed appropriate

Maintain an active voice within the Michigan travel industry (e.g. Travel Michigan, TICOM, etc.)

Maintain a communications network with members

Members commit to advocacy when called upon
MACVB represents its member interests in an advocacy role through the grassroots advocacy from the members themselves as well as through its lobbying firm, Michigan Legislative Consultants. MACVB is involved with numerous legislative efforts statewide with a focus on secured funding for its DMO members and for the funding of Pure Michigan.
